After a freak accident in a friend's swimming pool, Ed woke up to the devastating news he would never walk again, let alone play rugby. However, not one to ‘take things lying down’, Ed remained present and focused all his attention on moving his big toe. After defying the opinion of doctors and only one year on from his accident, Ed summited Mount Snowden.
